Helpful Tips

  • Use room temperature ingredients. This ensures even mixing and prevents lumps in your batter.
  • Don’t overmix. Overmixing can lead to tough cookies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough. Chilling the dough for 15-20 minutes before baking helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much.
  • Let them cool completely. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This prevents them from breaking.

Storage Information

Room temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.

Refrigerator: You can also store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Freezer: Freeze the cookies in a single layer on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag. Store for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
